HeckRaiser Productions is a music photography studio based in Upstate New York, working with touring artists, venues, festivals, labels, and press. We cover the whole arc of a show — load-in, soundcheck, dressing room, the first three songs in the pit, the rest of the set from the floor or balcony, and the look on a band's face when the lights come up. Photography that documents what actually happened, not just what looked good.

The work spans concert and live music photography, tour-day documentary coverage, studio session photography, and press portraits and EPK shootsfor bands building toward a release or a tour. Whether you're shooting your first hometown show or pulling a 30-city run, the goal is the same: frames you can use everywhere — posters, press kits, paid social, gallery walls, the algorithm — without re-shooting half the take.

We're based in Upstate NY and shoot regularly across Albany, the Capital Region, the Hudson Valley, the Adirondacks, the Catskills, and down into NYC and out to Boston, Burlington, Philly, and beyond. Familiar venues include Empire Live, MVP Arena, the Palace Theatre, The Egg, The Hollow Bar + Kitchen, Pearl Street Hub, Lark Hall, Putnam Place, and most of the festival circuits in the region. If we haven't shot your room yet, we've probably been to it.

Tour days, multi-city runs, and out-of-state shoots are quoted with travel built into the number. We're comfortable on a sprinter, in a green room, and in the parts of the venue most photographers never see.

No template packages. You tell us what we're shooting — the artist, the venue, the date, what the deliverable needs to do — and we come back with a custom quote, a shot list scoped to the room, and a turnaround timeline that fits your release cycle. Most quotes go out within 24 hours of an inquiry, and most galleries are delivered within a week of the shoot. Rush turnarounds for press are available.

You'll work directly with Jared on every shoot. No account managers, no junior second-shooters subbed in at the last minute, no corporate handoffs. The person who shows up to the venue is the person who edited the final gallery and the person who hits reply when you ask for one more crop.

Live music is loud, dim, fast, and built around three songs in the pit and a venue security guard who doesn't care about your release date.
