LANDSCAPE &
TRAVEL.

Back roads, coastlines, weather. Where the camera waits and the scene comes to it. Landscape and travel photography across Upstate NY, the Adirondacks, the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, and the wider Northeast — for brands, tourism boards, editorial, and print licensing.

WHAT WE SHOOT.

— THE PLACE, THE LIGHT, THE WEATHER

HeckRaiser Productions is a landscape and travel photography studio working with tourism boards, outdoor brands, editorial outlets, and licensing buyers across Upstate NY and the Northeast. We make photographs of places — the wide-open and the wild, the dirt road and the sea wall, the moment a fog bank rolls off a peak in the Adirondacks or the way a wet asphalt road catches a low-angle sun.

The work spans landscape photography for brand campaigns, prints, and editorial use, travel photography for tourism, hospitality, and road-trip storytelling, weather and atmospheric work for clients who want a photograph that feels like a place instead of a stock image, and environmental documentary for outdoor brands and conservation orgs. Patient work — the kind that waits for the light to land before pressing the shutter.

WHERE WE WORK.

— FROM HIGH PEAKS TO COASTLINES

Based in Upstate NY and shooting across the Adirondacks, the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, the Finger Lakes, the Mohawk Valley, the Thousand Islands, Lake George, Saratoga, and out into Vermont, the White Mountains, the Maine coast, the Berkshires, and the Pennsylvania hill country. Comfortable on a high-peak trail at 5am, in a snowstorm on the Northway, in a fog bank on the coast, and on the kind of back road that doesn't show up in Google Maps.

Multi-day trips, road-trip-style storytelling assignments, and out-of-region work are quoted with travel built into the number. We bring our own ride, our own gear, and the patience to wait three days for the right weather window.

WHAT YOU GET.

— DELIVERABLES, NO SURPRISES
  • HIGH-RES EDITED GALLERY — color-graded for the place, sequenced for the trip, ready for print, web, and editorial.
  • SOCIAL CROPS — 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 for the brand feed, the destination story, the partner share.
  • PRINT-READY EXPORTS — sized for gallery print, large-format display, and licensing.
  • EDITORIAL EXPORTS — sized and named for the magazine, the blog, the tourism site.
  • RAW ARCHIVE ON REQUEST — the full take, organized by location and day, for licensing or future use.

HOW IT WORKS.

— ONE CONVERSATION, ONE QUOTE, ONE PLAN

Tell us the place (or the route), the season, and what the photographs need to do — tourism campaign, outdoor brand launch, magazine feature, gallery print run — and we come back with a custom quote, a route or shot list scoped to the trip, and a turnaround timeline that fits the release. Landscape work has weather variance built in; we'll quote with built-in shoot days for the right window.

You'll work directly with Jared on every assignment. The person who reads the brief is the person on the trail at 5am, the person in the truck on the back road, and the person editing the gallery the week after.

WHY HECKRAISER.

— PATIENCE PAID OFF

Landscape photography is mostly waiting. Most photographers don't have the time or the road-trip stamina to wait for the right weather, so the work ends up looking like everyone else's — same overlooks, same mid-day light, same flat skies. We've been making landscape work since 2019 across the Northeast, and the difference is the patience — galleries that read like a region, not a checklist.
